Been going there majority of my life wether it was as a camper or staff, and at the end of the week it's somewhere you always want to coneback to. When i was younger if i ever got sad I would think of my memories of camp and I'd be back to normal. It's a place every child should grow up having experience with. It has so many activities going on any givin day I believe it's impossible to do everything they offer in one week. They have archery with longbows and compound bows, they have a building dedicated to arts and crafts, filled with painting and drawing and all kinds of artistic projects. They have all kinds of gym class like games going on all the tine, ping pong tables, and it's on the lake so there's an open swim in a dedicated part of the lake all the time, but they also have all kinds of boats you can take out across the whole lake and there is an island you can visit. The camp is run by all alumni, so you know they have the camps best interest in mind because they had great experiencies here and want that for all the kids who come. I could really go on and on about camp, but I'll stop here because the best way to unferstand camp Anokijig, is to experience camp Anokijig.

As for camp, the activities, and people there it is generally a good community. So why the two stars? The community, as I've said, is good but not great. They're not excepting of other religions, lgbtq, and many poc. Yet are excepting of racism, sexism, and using ppls personal information to hurt them if they misbehave. Also no one calls it "outrageous fun." Stop trying too hard to be cool. Needs work.

Went to a weekend women's conference and it was great. Staff are polite and efficient. Cabins are nice and the setting is beautiful.

My daughter loved camp, great way for kids to spend a week of their summer. Friendly staff with lots of activities to keep busy, even without electronics allowed (which i liked) she had a blast!

Great experience for the price. Accommodations were sparse however. Kids had fun though!
